Going Solo
Not even close. Every sailing we host is filled with solo travelers — that's the whole point. You'll be surrounded by people in the same boat (literally). Most of our travelers come alone and leave with group chats, follow-up trips already planned, and friendships that outlast the voyage.
We've heard this one a lot. Many of our most popular repeat travelers describe themselves as introverted. The difference here: you're not cold-calling strangers. We introduce you before you board via our private group chat, so by the time you step on the ship, you already know faces and names. The first conversation is never the hardest.
We welcome adults of all ages — our travelers range from their 20s to their 70s. The vibe shifts by sailing (check the Vibe Tag on each cruise card), so if you're looking for a high-energy social sailing or a more laid-back adventure, we'll match you to the right one.
Absolutely not. We build the social infrastructure — mixers, group dinners, hosted excursions — but your itinerary is yours. Want to spend a shore day wandering solo? Skip the group dinner for a quiet meal? That's completely fine. Community on your terms.
Pricing & The Single Supplement
Cruise lines price their cabins assuming two people sharing. When you travel solo, many lines charge you a 'single supplement' — sometimes 100% extra — to make up the difference. It means you end up paying double for a cabin you're using alone. We negotiate group rates and solo-specific inventory that dramatically reduce or eliminate this penalty.
It depends on the cruise line, destination, cabin category, and how far in advance you book. Prices on our cruise cards show starting rates for interior cabins. We always recommend booking early — solo-specific inventory is limited and sells out faster than standard cabins. Contact us for a current quote on any sailing.
The cruise fare covers your cabin, onboard meals at main dining venues, most entertainment, and port calls. Not included: flights, pre/post-cruise hotels, specialty dining, shore excursions, gratuities, and travel insurance (which we strongly recommend). We can help bundle any of these — just ask.
Yes. We'd never tell you it's optional. Medical evacuations at sea are expensive. Cancellations happen. We recommend purchasing travel insurance within 14 days of your initial deposit to maximize coverage, including pre-existing condition waivers. We can connect you with trusted providers.
Booking & Logistics
Start with a conversation — use the chat widget or the Plan Your Voyage button to reach us. We'll walk you through available sailings, cabin options, and pricing, then handle the booking from there. No forms. No booking engines. A real person, start to finish.
Yes. We can coordinate airfare, hotel stays before or after your cruise, and airport transfers. Some travelers like to arrive a day early to explore the departure city — we can build that in. Just let us know what you need.
We work across the major lines — Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, MSC, and more — wherever we can secure solo-friendly group rates and hosted group space. The cruise line varies by sailing; what stays consistent is our team onboard every departure.
As early as possible. Solo cabin inventory is genuinely limited — when a ship has 20 solo-friendly cabins and we're filling a group, they go fast. Most of our travelers book 6–12 months out. That said, we occasionally have last-minute spots open up — ask us what's available.
Onboard Experience
It means one of our team members sails with you. They're not a tour guide — they're the connector. They run the welcome mixer, coordinate group dinners, organize optional shared excursions, and make sure nobody feels like they're on their own. Think of it as having a friend on the ship who knows everybody.
No. Every traveler gets their own cabin. Solo supplement pricing means you pay for your own space — no roommate matching unless you specifically request it to save money (we can accommodate that too).
'High-Social Mixer' sailings are event-heavy with lots of group programming. 'The Lore-Builder' sailings lean into destination and culture — more port time, more exploration, a slightly quieter ship vibe. 'Main Character Energy' means you're going to have a story to tell. The Independence Meter on each card shows how structured vs. free-form the experience is.
